The Band have been making LP’s, EP’s and CD’s since 1976 with the first ‘Smile’ album which showcased the early arrangements and style developed by Ernie.
Following on from the success of this album a live recording was made of the ‘Warring Forties’ concerts and released under the same name. This has all the singalong songs from the Wars and features the band’s trademark Glenn Miller sound.
‘Swingalong’, ‘Nice n Groovy’ and Showband Showcase were released during the years leading to 1998 with the latter being specially released to celebrate the band’s 25th Anniversary.
‘Millennium Magic’ was released in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium and the ‘coming of age’ of the band’s development.
Following the passing of Ernie and the baton being passed to Ivan, it was deemed fitting that this should be acknowledged in the title of the bands next CD in 2005 ‘The Magic Lives On…’
The Band’s next album ‘Feeling Good’ was a knockout compilation of the band’s new style of arranging and playing -

Yes, really -
This is our latest album that highlights the versatility of the band with a programme of music to rival many professional outfits. Featuring several of our famous show medleys including Overtures from Mary Poppins, Jekyll & Hyde and Ivan’s ever popular arrangement of music from Les Miserables. We pay tribute to Cilla Black and feature a wide repertoire of music from film, stage and the big bands. For the first time on CD we are joined by our very own soprano Elizabeth Phillips, who regular audience members will know from our Festival of Remembrance shows. Enchanting arrangements of Everytime We Say Goodbye and Someone Like You are beautifully sung by Elizabeth. She also delivers a captivating performance of Nella Fantasia, the lyricised version of Ennio Morricone’s Gabriel’s Oboe. An album not to be missed from your collection.
